At Long for Hair our custom made wigs, hairpieces and toupees are designed and manufactured to exactly match your individual and unique requirements.

Using only the highest quality human hair or the most advanced man-made fibre or heat resistant ‘cyberhair’, in conjunction with a choice of ultra-lightweight secure bases, our handmade custom pieces are an exceptional premium choice.

Individually designed

First we ensure a perfect fitting base by making a mould of your scalp to provide an exact replica which accounts for size, shape and the unique contours of your head. For hairpieces and toupees we create a template that exactly matches the area requiring cover.

Through consultation, we will discuss hair colour including options for highlights, lowlights, slices etc, hair density and amount of curl desired; additionally, choice of partings, crown position and lace fronts all contribute to creating an individual bespoke piece that when cut, styled and finished, perfectly matches your personal requirement.

The process takes around 12 weeks to completion and suits those experiencing long term hair loss and alopecia. Initial order base and colour checks are advised prior to final manufacture to prevent any possibility for error and provide an opportunity to make final adjustment.
